The shedding in the shower is the first thing to change

A plant-based blend of ten herbs - saw palmetto, stinging nettle, bamboo and fo-ti among them - formulated to support healthy DHT balance and a healthy hair growth cycle. Two capsules a day.

  • Supports healthy DHT balance: Saw palmetto and stinging nettle are the two herbs most associated with DHT support, and they lead a 359mg blend rather than appearing as a trace.
  • Formulated to support a healthy growth cycle: The growth phase is the part that shortens. The blend is built around supporting it, alongside the biotin, zinc and B-vitamins hair is actually made from.
  • Helps reduce excess shedding: This is the change people report first, usually somewhere in the second month, and usually in the shower rather than in the mirror.
  • Two capsules, no taste, no routine to build: A vegetable capsule with breakfast. It is the least demanding thing you will try for this, which matters, because the only version that works is the one taken for months.

Ninety days to decide. A hair supplement cannot be judged in a fortnight - take it properly for three months, and if nothing has changed, tell us and we will refund the order.

The drain was the first sign it was working

Not the mirror. The shower, about eight weeks in, and noticeably less of it.

Two with breakfast and that is the whole routine

No taste, no aftertaste. I stopped noticing I was taking them by week two.

Give it the full three months

Nothing happened for six weeks and I nearly stopped. Glad I did not.

Dihydrotestosterone is a hormone your body converts testosterone into. In people whose follicles are genetically sensitive to it, it shortens the growth phase of the hair cycle - each hair grows for less time than the last, and comes back finer.

This is a supplement, not a medicine. It is formulated around herbs traditionally associated with DHT support - saw palmetto and stinging nettle chief among them - together with the vitamins and minerals involved in normal hair growth. It supports healthy DHT balance; it does not block a hormone the way a prescription drug does, and it is not a substitute for one.

If your hair loss is sudden, patchy, or came on with other symptoms, that is a conversation with a doctor rather than a supplement.

Longer than you want. Hair grows roughly a centimetre a month and the cycle you are trying to influence runs in months, not weeks.

What people generally report: reduced shedding somewhere between weeks six and twelve, and any change in how it looks well after that. Individual results vary, and some people notice nothing.

Ninety days is the honest minimum for judging it, which is why the packs are sold in three and five month supplies and why the guarantee runs that long.

Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. Saw palmetto affects hormone pathways and is not appropriate in pregnancy.

Anyone on prescription medication, particularly hormone therapy, blood thinners or anything for the prostate - check with your doctor first.

It contains soy. If you have a soy allergy, this is not for you.

Two capsules daily with food. Breakfast is the easiest to remember and food helps with absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins in the blend.

There is no loading phase and no cycling. Consistency is the entire mechanism - the missed days are what undo it, not the dose.

Two capsules daily with food. One bottle is a month; the table above follows whichever pack you have selected.

Dispatched from our US warehouse within one business day, with tracking by email as soon as it leaves.

Ninety days to change your mind, which is long enough to have actually given it a fair go.

You have started taking the photo from the same angle every time.

It started with the drain. Then it was the pillow, and the shoulders of a dark shirt, and eventually the particular light in one bathroom that makes the crown look worse than it does anywhere else.

Nobody has said anything. That is not really the point - you know, and you have started arranging things so that other people do not.

Dihydrotestosterone binds to receptors in the follicle, and in people genetically sensitive to it the growth phase shortens with each cycle. The hair comes back finer, then finer again. It is a gradual narrowing rather than a sudden loss, which is why it is usually well underway before it becomes obvious.

This is a daily supplement formulated to support healthy DHT balance.

Ten herbs, led by the two that matter

Saw palmetto and stinging nettle are the herbs most consistently associated with DHT support, and they head a 359mg proprietary blend rather than sitting at the bottom of a label as a trace. Behind them: fo-ti, bamboo extract, spirulina, alfalfa, Chinese peony, plant sterols and barley grass. The full panel is printed on the bottle and reproduced in the gallery, because a proprietary blend you cannot read is a proprietary blend you should not buy.

The vitamins hair is actually built from

Biotin gets the marketing, but hair is a protein structure that needs zinc, iron, selenium and the B-vitamins to assemble properly. The formula carries all of them alongside vitamins A, C, D and E, at doses printed on the panel rather than described as 'a blend'. If you are already taking a multivitamin, read both labels before doubling up - more is not better with the fat-soluble ones, and vitamin A in particular is one you can genuinely overdo.

A capsule you will still be taking in month three

Everything about this product is designed around the only variable that decides whether it does anything: whether you keep taking it. A tasteless vegetable capsule, two a day, with breakfast. No powder to mix, no smell, nothing to refrigerate, nothing to apply to your scalp and then explain. The three and five month packs exist for the same reason - the people who see a change are the ones who did not stop at week six.

What the first three months look like

Hair grows slowly enough that nothing here happens quickly. The rows below are what people report noticing, in the order they notice it - not a schedule, and not a promise.

Week 1
Nothing. You are taking two capsules with breakfast and that is the whole of it. Set a reminder for the first fortnight.
Week 2-4
Still nothing visible, and this is where most people quit. The hair on your head right now was set in motion months ago.
Week 6-8
The first thing people report, and it is usually the shower rather than the mirror - less coming away in your hands when you wash.
Week 10-12
The pillow and the shirt shoulders. Shedding is the measurable part; this is the point at which it is worth taking a photo in the same light you took the first one.
Month 4-5
Any change in how it looks sits out here, if it comes at all. Individual results vary and some people notice nothing.
Ongoing
It works for as long as you take it. There is no course to finish and no point at which the effect is banked.

What people say

Eight weeks before I noticed anything, and what I noticed was the drain rather than my head.

Ryan M., verified buyer

Two with breakfast. That is genuinely the whole routine and it is why I am still taking them.

Alex T., verified buyer

I nearly stopped at six weeks. Do not do what I nearly did.

Jason R., verified buyer

Read the panel before you buy it - I wanted to see the actual doses and they are printed.

Questions

No, and it is not sold as one. This is a plant-based supplement formulated to support healthy DHT balance. A prescription medicine works differently, is regulated differently, and is a conversation with a doctor. Some people take a supplement instead; some take one because they have decided against the other. We are not going to tell you which you are.

Reduced shedding is what people report first, generally somewhere between weeks six and twelve. Anything visible sits well beyond that. Ninety days is the minimum for a fair judgement, which is why the guarantee runs that long. Individual results vary.

Be realistic. A supplement supports the hair growth cycle - it is far better suited to hair that is thinning than to scalp that has been bare for years. If you are early, you have more to work with. That is true of everything in this category.

The formula is not sex-specific and the vitamins and minerals in it are relevant to hair growth generally. But it contains saw palmetto, which acts on hormone pathways, so it is not appropriate in pregnancy or breastfeeding, and it is worth a word with your doctor first.

Then tell us within ninety days and we refund the order. We would rather that than have you take it for a year hoping. Some people notice nothing - that is a real outcome and the guarantee exists for it.

The shower was the first thing that changed

I was clearing the drain every week and had started noticing it on the pillow. About two months in there was visibly less of it coming away when I washed. That is the only thing I can say for certain has changed, and it is the thing I actually wanted.

Easy enough that I am still taking it

I have started and abandoned three things for this. Two capsules with breakfast is the first one I have kept up past a month - no taste, nothing to mix, nothing to put on my scalp. Whatever else it does, it does not ask anything of you.

Nearly stopped at week six

Six weeks of nothing and I was ready to write it off. My brother told me to give it the full three months so I did. I would not have got to the point of noticing anything if I had followed my instinct at week six.

I bought it because the panel is printed

Most of these hide behind 'proprietary blend' with no doses. This one prints the lot on the bottle, and saw palmetto and nettle are at the top of the blend rather than the bottom. That is the reason I picked it over two cheaper ones.

Three months in, honestly not sure yet

Shedding is down, which I am fairly confident about because the drain is easier to judge than a hairline. Whether anything looks different I genuinely cannot tell - I have photos and I go back and forth on them. Four stars because it is doing something and I am carrying on, not because I can show you a result.
