Puracle Properly Clean, With A Lot Less Paper

An ultra-slim bidet attachment that fits under the seat you already have. Dual nozzle, adjustable pressure, and about fifteen minutes with a wrench.

  • Properly clean: with a lot less paper - most people end up rinsing and patting dry, and a pack lasts a good deal longer.
  • The seat still sits flat: ultra-slim, so you are not perched an inch higher every time you sit down. This is the difference between a bidet you keep and one you take off again.
  • Fifteen minutes, no plumber: an adjustable wrench, no cutting and no permanent change to anything.
  • Dual nozzle, adjustable pressure: front and rear on one dial. It runs cold - there is nothing electric in it, which is also why there is nothing to wire and nothing to break.

installed it before dinner was ready

Water off, seat off, plate on, done. Took me about twenty minutes and most of that was reading first. Mine has not dripped once, and I did tape the threads like it says. My wife wanted one for the other bathroom about a week later.

the seat sits flat, which is why i picked this one

I'd looked at a few and they all seemed to prop the seat up an inch. This one you barely notice is there. Pressure dial is easy to reach and easy to turn down, which matters more than I expected the first time.

we go through about a third of the toilet paper

That's the honest headline. Two adults, and a big pack now lasts most of the month instead of a fortnight. Cold water took me maybe three days to stop noticing and now I don't think about it.

Will it fit my toilet

It fits a standard two-piece toilet - a separate tank behind the bowl - with either a round or an elongated bowl. It does not fit a one-piece moulded toilet. If your seat hinges are unusually deep or you have a heated seat already fitted, measure the gap between the bowl rim and the hinge before you order.

How it installs

Turn the water off at the toilet, take the seat off, lay the plate on the rim, put the seat back over it, fit the T-valve between the supply line and the cistern, connect the braided hose, turn the water back on. About fifteen minutes. You need an adjustable wrench and nothing else.

Why installs leak, and how not to

Almost every leak anyone has with an attachment like this is at the T-valve, and it is one of two things. Either the rubber washer never got seated in the fitting, or the threads never got taped. Both parts are in the box. Seat the washer, wrap the threads two or three turns, hand tighten and then give it a quarter turn with the wrench - not more. If it weeps, turn the water off and redo the tape rather than tightening harder.

It only runs cold

It does, and we would rather say it here than have you find out on a January morning. There is no heater and no power, which is also why there is nothing to wire, nothing to plug in and nothing to break. Most people are used to it within a few days.

Cleaning and upkeep

Nothing to replace. The nozzle sits behind a guard so it stays out of the way, and it retracts when it is not in use. Wipe it over when you clean the toilet.

Shipping and the guarantee

Sixty days. If it does not fit your toilet, or you simply do not get on with it, tell us and we will refund you - you do not need to send back a boxed unit to prove it did not suit.

For everyone who has thought about it for two years and not done it.

Thin enough that the seat sits where it always did

Most attachments wedge a slab of plastic between the bowl and the seat, and you feel it every single time. This one is slim enough that the seat rests essentially flat. It sounds like a detail until you have lived with the other kind for a fortnight.

It runs cold, and there is a reason

There is no heater in it because there is nothing electric in it. No socket behind the toilet, no wiring, no transformer, nothing to fail and nothing to replace. The trade is that the water is cold. Most people are used to it inside a few days, and we would rather tell you now than have you find out in January.

Both actives are printed as percentages on every bottle.

A lot less paper

Nobody stops entirely - you rinse, then pat dry. What changes is how much you get through, and the people in the reviews who mention it describe a pack lasting roughly twice as long.

The seat still sits flat

Most attachments wedge a chunk of plastic between the bowl and the seat and you feel it every time you sit down. This one is thin enough that the seat rests essentially where it always did - which is the difference between a bidet you use and a bidet you take off again.

What to expect

Before you order
Look at your toilet. This fits a standard two-piece - the kind with a separate tank behind the bowl - in round or elongated. If yours is a one-piece moulded unit, or the seat hinges sit unusually deep, measure first. Two minutes now beats sending something back.
What's in the box
The attachment, a braided steel hose, the T-valve, a rubber washer and a roll of thread tape. The washer is small and dark and it is the single most common thing people lose on the kitchen table before they start.
Install
Water off, seat off, plate on, T-valve in, hose on, water back on. Most people are done in about fifteen minutes with an adjustable wrench. Take the extra minute on the threads - that is the step that decides whether you are finished or mopping.
First use
Cold. It runs off the same cold line that fills your cistern and there is no heater in it, because there is nothing electric in it. Most people describe getting used to it inside a few days.
First week
The dial finds a setting and stays there. This is roughly where people stop reaching for as much paper without having decided to.
Ongoing
Nothing to replace, nothing to plug in, no filters, no cartridges. Wipe the nozzle now and then. If there is a second bathroom in the house, this is usually the point at which it gets one too.

Questions people ask first

Do I need a plumber?

No. It fits between the supply line and the cistern with an adjustable wrench and no cutting, no glue and no permanent change to anything. If you have ever changed a shower head you are over-qualified.

Is the water warm?

No. It runs cold, off the same line that fills the cistern. Nothing electric means nothing to wire and nothing to fail, and it also means no heater.

What if it leaks?

Nearly always the T-valve, and nearly always the washer or the tape. Both are in the box and there is a panel above showing exactly where people go wrong. If you have done both and it still weeps, get in touch before you fight it - the sixty days covers you either way.

Will the seat still close properly?

Yes. The plate is thin enough that the seat sits essentially flat on the rim. That is the whole point of this one over the chunkier attachments.

Can I use it in more than one bathroom?

Each toilet needs its own. That is why the two and three bathroom sizes are there - most people who buy a second one do it a few weeks later anyway.

Good, but be ready for cold and read the T-valve bit

No complaints about the attachment itself, it works exactly as described and it is genuinely slim. Two things though. It is cold, and nobody is pretending otherwise, but the first go is a surprise. And my T-valve dripped until I took it apart and redid the tape properly. Ten minutes of my own fault, but worth knowing.

Second one for upstairs

Bought one in April for the downstairs bathroom and I've just done the upstairs one. Same fifteen minutes. Nothing to plug in, nothing to replace, and I've not touched it since beyond a wipe.
